About Us
Born during the recession, our Nativity Sets helped save jobs during a challenging economic time and continue to be a tremendous blessing by offsetting the seasonality of our primary business of marine manufacturing.
Our parent company Teak Isle Mfg, a 35 year supplier to the marine industry, was faced with cutting its workforce during the holidays. The hard fact was that fewer people were buying boats and the holiday months were going to be extremely slow. While brainstorming ways to keep our employees working, we remembered years back cutting Nativity Sets for a local Christmas tree farm. We decided to revisit the design to make it extra-durable and easily disassemble for compact storage and shipping. We not only saved jobs that year, but also created jobs moving forward thanks to our loyal customers!
